 People for Rihanna released this statement today on her behalf:

"At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time."

My two cents on the issue is I think that if Chris gave Rihanna the beating
Chris must pay for what he did. If Chris walks away without punishment what example are we setting for the kids? If Chris gets away with hitting rihanna then we are saying that it is ok for men to hit women and that women can do nothing about it. Rihanna may have provoked him but she did not deserve a beating for it

I'm not a Chris Brown fan but i quite like Rihanna, doing that to his girlfriend for whatever reason he's no man atall he's a THUG, best place for ppl; like him is Prison . For doing something so so stupid he will remember this for a long long time, i have no sympathy for him . Now we all know the real reason why she never performed in Indonesia, cos that Thug hit her over and over again, Shameful .

Just so some of you understand women do hit men quite often and our society tells us that we should not react. As if we feel no pain. Now hitting her to that point maybe not but sometimes no matter who you are you might get punched
